The city of Mount Pleasant has confirmed it has a flag, but couldn't provide an image, photo or description.
Valentin Poposki, 20 March 2010
The City of Mt Pleasant, Iowa officially adopted their city flag on August
30, 1979. It was designed by Sheri Beckham, a former resident of the city.
The flag is of a diagonally divided field of white and cyan with a yellow
saltire. In the center is a yellow ring with the name of the town on the top,
and the phrase "YOUR [KIND] OF TOWN" on the bottom. Inside the rings is a white
disk with a green outline of Iowa on it. In each chevron is a oval of the
opposite color. From clockwise are a black steam tractor, a gray flower of some
kind, industrial pulley wheels of black and white, and what appears to be corn
or wheat.
