The flag is a black field with the logo of the Smiths Station High School in the center. In case your wondering, not a high school flag, a previous version of the flag is named on the city's Facebook on a post as "City of Smiths Station flag" which is seen here.

The seal depicts steam train with the number 622 on the front of it's boiler.
Overlaying the train is the city name with the incorporation year next to it.
