The House of Representatives is the lower house of the bicameral Parliament of Somaliland, with the House of Elders being the upper house. The interim House of Representatives was formed in 1991, and the Somaliland National Charter of 1993 established bicameral legislature.

national election commission of Somaliland. The commission organizes
Somaliland's presidential elections, parliamentary elections, local council
elections and referendums.
Its flag is white with its emblem placed in
the center of the flag.

The Somaliland Immigration and Border Control is an agency of the government
of Somaliland under the Ministry of Interior and also is the principal
authority to execute and implement the immigration laws of Somaliland. The
Immigration and Border Control regulates examination and authorization of
application for visas, entry and residence permits in Somaliland. The agency is
headed by the Brigadier General. The Immigration Department is also responsible
for the issue of Somaliland Passports.

The Somaliland National Service is the National Service Program in
Somaliland which is an agency of the Government of Somaliland agency with a
legal personality currently under the office of President. SNSP is a pilot
program and its performance and contribution to the national youth well-being.
