Ethan Dubrow, 24 August 2024Klintsy is a town in Bryansk Oblast. It is the capital of Klintsovsky District but is politically separate from it. It was founded in 1707 and had a population of 62,510 as of the 2010 census.
The flag of Klintsy is rectangular with 2:3 dimensions, consisting of two
equally-sized horizontal bars. The top bar is red and the bottom bar is green.
In the center is a yellow ring with teeth (possibly a cog). Superimposed on the
ring is a shuttle and superimposed on that is a spool of thread. The current
flag was officially adopted on January 31st, 2024.
Here is what the
colors represent:
Green - joy, progress, hope, life, health, abundance, as
well as nature and the Russian forest.
Red - labor, courage, strength, unity,
and perseverance in the achievement of goals.
Yellow - respect, justice,
wealth, stability, and generosity.
