The town emblem was adopted on Feb 11th 1969 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 七 Hichi of Hichiso. It represents the towns peaceful development, a surge and  a reconciliation and a cooperation of the people.
