The old flag of Þingeyjarsveit municipality was white with the shield centred.
In 2022, the municipality of Þingeyjarsveit merged with the municipality of
Skútustaðahreppur into a new municipality named Þingeyjarsveit. The new
municipality has its new coat of arms, but I don't know how that affects the
flag.
