About the Flag

Horizontally divided blue over dark green, in the centre of the upper stripe, a large yellow star with the motto arched above, in the lower stripe, a  scalloped orange band extending across the field from hoist to fly and bearing the municipal name, crossed obliquely by a reddish brown band with a grid at the intersection.
