Shield Or a fess wavy Azure, charged with a bar wavy Argent, in chief a lion passant guardant Gules armed Sable, in base a maize ear Or leafed Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "MARRANCOS".
Meaning:
The lion is an attribute of St. Mammes, the local patron saint.

Marrancos was one of the 37 communes of Vila Verde Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 504 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 3,29 km².

The escallops are attributes of St. James the Elder, the local patron saint.
