Coat of arms

Shield Vert, a throughout Roman bridge Argent masoned sable, issuant from a bar wavy Argent, charged with a barrulet wavy Azure, in chief an eradicated apple tree Or fruited Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "MACIEIRA DA MAIA".
Meaning:
The apple tree (Port.: macieira) is a canting element.
