The municipality of Probištip (7,141 inhabitants; 888.97 sq. km), located in northeastern North Macedonia, is made of the town of Probištip and of the 35 settlements of Buneš, Bučište, Gajranci, Gorni Stubol, Gorno Barbarevo, Grizilevci, Gujnovci, Dobrevo, Dolni Stubol, Dolno Barbarevo, Dreveno, Drenok, Zarepnici, Zelengrad, Zletovo, Jamište, Kalište, Kukovo, Kuldino, Lezovo, Lesnovo, Marčino, Neokazi, Pestršino, Petrišino, Pišica, Plešanci, Puzderci, Ratavica, Strisovci, Strmoš, Tripatanci, Troolo, Tursko Rudari, and Štalkovica.

The symbols of Probištip were adopted on 23 December 2015.
The flag is horizontally divided green-white-green, charged in the
center with a white square diamond encompassing the municipal coat of
arms, outlined in gold yellow. The diamond is surrounded by two green
sledgehammers crossed in saltire.
The stand-alone coat of arms is "Argent a three-peaked mount vert a
church argent surrounded by two bezants argents charged with two
sledgehammers vert in saltire in base three fesses wavy argent./ The
shield outlined or and surrounded by a garland of mulberry leaves or s,
surmounted by a mural crown or.
The mining tools recall the local lead-zinc ore deposits, evaluated at
some 10 million tons.

The selected design for the greater coat of arms lacks a wreath. The
composition of gold mulberry leaves placed around the shield can not be
called a wreath. A wreath of two branches and a ribbon was part of the
competition as part of the criteria to be applied when selecting the
best ranked design.
The selected design for the flag, however, has a different coat of arms
from the adopted one. With the removal of the crossed mining hammers
from the shield and their placement outside of it, the blazon was
changed and so that becomes a different coat of arms.
