Located in Ryugaski City Ibaraki Prefecture and established in 1965.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has dark red background with a gold emblem in gold fringe.
The university flag has red background with a white emblem.
The university emblem is a graphic representation of the kanji words 流通大學 University of Distribution. This emblem was adopted in 1965, when the university was founded with a donation from Nippon Express Co., Ltd. for the purpose of promoting research and education related to distribution economics in general.
