Flag

Located in Ginowan City Okinawa Prefecture and established in 1972. The embroidered ceremonial flag has crimson background with a gold and silver emblem in gold fringe. The emblem of Okinawa International University is in the form of a pen held by the petals of the flower of coral tree, the flower of Okinawa Prefecture. The pen symbolizes a place of academic research and education, and the powerful crimson petals of the flower of coral tree represent the university's ambition and passion.
