After participating in the Osaka Winter Campaign in 1614 and the Osaka Summer Campaign in 1615 as a member of the Tokugawa side, he succeeded his father's death in 1619 and was given 50,000 goku of land in Takasaki, Kouzuke Province. The war banner has red background with a gold snake eye.

Personal flag

He served Tokugawa Ieyasu and attacked Ueda Castle in Shinano Province on the side of Toyotomi in the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600. He was a feudal lord of 20,000 goku in Kouzuke Province. The war banner has black background with a gold ladder. The general’s standard was white oak leaves on a black background.
