The Flag

The flag of the village of Rokkasho is green with mark.

The village emblem was adopted on Feb 9th 1966 by Notice No 5 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized kanji 六 Roku of Rokkasho. The upper part symbolizes an exponential development and the lower two lines do a concord of the villagers.
