Description

Local Council Karnei Shomron ("Rays [of light] of Samaria") is situated east of Kfar Saba. Established in 1977 about 14 km SW of Nablus in Judea and Samaria District. In 1991, the nearby settlement of Ginot Shomron (est. 1985) was annexed to it and it became an Local Council. Pop. 6100 (2003).
