Symbols of Guadalcázar

  • Flag (?):

There is no official flag for the Municipality of Guadalcázar. However, Wikipedia user Erlenmeyer in 2011, and official Guadalcázar Facebook page in 2019, show the same (unofficial) flag - burgundy background with the municipal coat of arms, but shield only, i.e. without crown.

  • Coat of arms:

Previous coat of arms from Simbolos de Córdoba website.
Description: Shield surmounted by an open royal crown, quartered or counter-quartered. The first and second quarters: on a field of gules, a gold castle with three crenellations, masoned and opened in sable. The third and fourth quarters: on a field of argent, a rampant lion, langued, armed and clawed gules, crowned or.
Meaning: This is the coat of arms of Castile and León, with the second and third quarters swapped, just as in the coat of arms of Gor.
