Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
Shield gyronny of eight of Gules and Argent, inescutcheon Or charged with a wolf rampant Sable armed and tongued Gules. The shield on flag has a thin white fimbriation.
Meaning:
The number of gyrons is representing the eight former municipalities, independent until 1974, as follows: Brinkum, Fahrenhorst, Groß Mackenstedt, Heiligenrode (Neukrug), Moordeich, Seckenhausen, Stuhr and Varrel.
