Description of banner:
It is a 5-stripes banner divided vertically by alternating red and white stripes with ratio 3:2:3:2:3. In a red rectangular bannerhead are the figures of the coat of arms without shield.

Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a red field is a silver (=white) dragon puffing out two little clouds and being gored by a cross-topped golden (= yellow) lance.
Meaning:
According to source the arms are based upon the old arms of Rott, and show the symbol of St. Quirin, the patron saint of Rott, who, according to the legend, killed a dragon by a cross-topped lance.
