Description of the flag

UQAM is a medium-sized research university in Montréal, Qué​bec. I observed the institution flag last week. It is simply the UQAM logo on a white field.

The logo is is actually a commissioned lettering with the letter "UQÀM" in darker teal blue, in a sans serif typeface yet with slight stroke variation (resembling Optima) with an exaggerated grave accent mark.
