Fowler, 8 February 2022 Les Chenaux (meaning the channels in French) is a regional county
municipality (RCM) in central Québec, Canada, in the Mauricie region. The
seat is in Saint-Luc-de-Vincennes. It has 934 km² (land = 872 km²) and
	17,900 inhabitants.
The RCM was created in 2002.
Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel came from former Centre-de-la-Mauricie RCM, and
the other municipalities came from the former Francheville RCM. Francheville
RCM was dissolved when six of its municipalities amalgamated with the city
of Trois-Rivières, and Saint-Étienne-des-Grès was added to the Maskinongé
RCM. The remaining municipalities were grouped into the new RCM Les Chenaux.
	There are 10 subdivisions:
Six Municipalities
The logo and flag for this county changed sometime in 2021.
New flag is a
white logo on green (reversed colours from the logo, below).
