Municipality

The municipality of Pajuçara (3,973 inhabitants in 2010; 41,424 ha) is located 300 km of Porto Alegre.

The municipality of Pajuçara was established by State Law No. 5,156 promulgated on 15 December 1965, separating from Cruz Alta, and inaugurated on 15 May 1966.
