About the district

Castelli Partido is on the east coast of Buenos Aires Province, about 180 km east of Buenos Aires city.

Description of the flag

The flag of the Partido of Castelli is a result of a contest held in 2012:

"The Castelli Flag is made up of four triangles, two light blue, on the shaft and the wing, and two green, upper and lower, cut by white stripes in the shape of a Saint Andrew's Cross.

In the center a golden shield with a modified shape of the Spanish one from the second half of the 18th century, quartered in a narrow cross in which events and establishments from the most notable periods in the history of the Party are established. In the first quarter in azure with the attributes of the shield.
The second of Sinople (green) with a gules apple representative of the former apple and cider producer “La California Argentina”. The third silver with the centenary Castillo de Guerrero (1894). The fourth striped in gules and gold representing federalism and crops. In the centre a gules escutcheon with an irregular perimeter symbolizing the map of the Party.
Ornaments: as a stamp, a silver parchment badge with the ends folded over themselves and ending in a point, loaded with a toponymic motto of capital sable characters. In an open crown two branches of laurels foliated with sinople in three sessile pairs, stems of the same crossed at the bottom."
