Introduction

Although completely unofficial, it has been seen in consistent use at least in recent years — either because manufactors agreed on the design (or perhaps there is only one manufactor for this item?) or simply because it is the “logical” one. Ratio varies. Usage is mostely decorative, usualy hoisted at large commercial or industrial vanues along with advertisement banners of the same format. The arms’ diameter is usually half the with of the flag.

No arms

Simplifications and incorrect versions abound. A simple red/green vertical equal bicolor is perhaps the most simple as it gets.

This is especially so when vertical flags are envolved; those are sometimes used in Portugal and seem as some kind of decorative bunting, “inspired” by the national flag (like swiss landsfarben).
