It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain white field.

Shield Vert, on central chief in a nimbus Argent surrounding an eagle of the same garnished Sable, on dexter base two wheat ears Or in saltire, on sinister base a grape bunch Or leafed Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "NESPEREIRA - LOUSADA". 
Meaning:
The nimbed eagle is an attribute of St. John the Evangelist, the local patron saint. Ears and grape bunch are symbolising agriculture and viticulture.

Nespereira was one of the 15 communes of Lousada Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 2085 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 2,62 km².
