At the current world cup of cricket the Ireland team is flying a green flag
with white writing and a logo on a white disc [a cricket ball]. Perhaps someone in a country that
follows wickets and googlies can find an image. The flag at the opening was much
smaller than the national flags of the other countries, and it must have been
heavier, because it hung when the others flapped. It is probably double sided
because I saw the reverse and the lettering read correctly. It is not the flag
on the Wikipedia page, but their logo is found there.
The reason for a
special flag is that the team represents the entire island, North and South.
