image by António Martins-Tuválkin and Pascal Gross,
7 August 2009 St Catharine's College of Cambridge University uses a flag with a red field,
yellow St Catherine's wheel. The
college website
shows the arms. A large picture is provided by
biannual newsletter, named after the symbol. An
old depiction of arms shows the wheel as merely the crest.

At
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:St_Catharine's_college_flag.jpg is a
not so good image of the same flag, or of an identical flag. Comparing with
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Catz_shield.svg,
http://www.heraldicneedlepoint.com/acatalog/info_52.html, and others, it
seems that the flag shows a stylized version of the arms — not only it lacks
black contour lines but also (more importantly) it shows eight, not sixteen
blades. In that regard, the break wheel on the flag looks more like
http://www.student.caths.cam.ac.uk/mcr/images/logo.jpg its students’ union
logo.
At
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Catharine%27s_College%2C_Cambridge the
colors of St Catharine's College are given as burgundy and pink, not
taken
from the arms.
