The flag is vertically parted in three parts of equal width. The central part displays under an inscription "1990"(1st line, black) "RVD"(2nd line, green) the arms of the former city of Dessau. The hoist part displays five red horizontal stripes at top over a black inscription "1886"(1st line) "RCD"(2nd line). The fly part displays five blue 5-point stars in quincunx at bottom under a black inscription "1887"(1st line) "DRV"(2nd line). The hoist part displays elements from the dissolved RC Dessau, the fly part from the dissolved Dessauer RV.

Name: Ruder-Club Dessau

The flag was white parted by two thin red vertical lines. On central part were the former city arms of Dessau with fortrees on crest. On hoist part were nine horizontal stripes alternating of red and white on the upper half. On fly were nine horizontal stripes alternating of red and white on the lower half.
