Shield Gules, a gate Or masoned Sable with five embattlements and an open port, charged with an impending 6-spokes wheel Argent.
Meaning:
The gate is representing the Roman fortress, from which the village developed. The wheel is symbolising the Archbishopric of Mainz, which ruled the village between 1292 and 1803.
