The city of Jardim de Angicos has adopted a new flag including a coat of arms, with elements of the environment of that municipality and a portrait of Alzira Soriano, the first woman to be elected as a mayor in Latin America (1928)

Former flag

Quartered green and white with a buff stripe horizontally across the middle, all overlain in the centre by a deep yellow square, notched on the two vertical sides, inside which is a buff disk, edged green, with a cotton ball and the name inside the bottom of the disk.
