The Band

The Lenape (Lunaapeew) People of the Delaware Nation at Moraviantown is found on the southern shores of the Thames River, near the small town of Thamesville, approximately 3 hours west of Toronto. There are approximately 550 residents who live in our community, however total membership is well over 1,000.

The Flag

The current flag is white with the emblem in the centre depicting in black outline a bird flying in front of the sun and above a tree on the back of a turtle and the name in Lunaapeew above and English below.
