The Aklavik First Nation a.k.a. Ehdiitat Gwich'in Council is a Gwich'in First 
Nations band in the Northwest Territories. Its reserve is the Aklavik 
Settlement. The band is located in Aklavik, a mixed community of First Nations, 
Inuit, and non-Indigenous people. The Aklavik First Nation is a member of the 
Gwich'in Tribal Council. As of May 2021, the Nation has a total of 441 
registered members, including five residing on their own reserve, and 252 living 
on their own crown land.
