APANO was formally incorporated in 1983, as a not for profit Aboriginal organization governed by a Board of Directors. The Aboriginal Peoples Alliance provides support and representation through programs and activities that meet the needs of individual communities including: Support and advocacy, Cultural Workshops and activities, Individuals services, Care management, Information and resources, Access to traditional healing and Assistance with access to community services.
