Description of the flag

The Seaside Park Yacht Club started out, according to its own history, as a race between mostly the boats of life guards. The boats' owners then formed a club, and things grew from there. In 1914, it lead to the creation of the Barnegat Bay Yacht Racing Association, of which the SPYC was a charter member.

Burgee: Crimson, with a fouled anchor with its shank pointing toward the canton.
