Description of the flag

The Friendship Sloop Society of midcoast Maine normally has a regatta each summer in Rockland, Maine of Friendship Sloops, a specific historic type of vessel developed in Friendship, Maine. Their burgee is a white pennant with the upper and lower edges bordered red. In the center is an ivy branch with six leaves in green denoting friendship.
