I'm not sure whether this club still exists. But at one time, one of their members visited the Newport Yacht Club. Or the other way around: Suddenly it dawns on me that an active Newportian could also have gathered those burgees.) Either way, the people from Barnstable exchanged burgees with people from Newport.

The Barnstable burgee is blue bearing a white disk with a red spanning five-pointed star, one point up.

Google describes the club now as a social club; no longer a yacht club.
