Description of the flag

Estb: 1887. Location: Sand Bay, Canarsie, Brooklyn, NY.
Burgee: Pennant circa 4.5:7. Blue field superimposed by a sailor in white foul-weather gear holding a white boat's tiller.

Officers' Distinguishing Flags

Commodore: Pennant circa 5:7. Same design as burgee except with three vertical and equally-spaced white stars between hoist and sailor.
Vice Commodore: same design as Commodore except with two stars either side of an imaginary horizontal centre line.
Rear Commodore: same design as Commodore except one star on imaginary horizontal centre line.
