Institution

Louisiana Christian University is a private Baptist college in Pineville, Louisiana. It enrolls 1,100 to 1,200 students. Although the college is affiliated with a group of Southern Baptist churches, which make up the membership of the Louisiana Baptist Convention, students need not be a member of that denomination to attend. Louisiana Christian University was founded in 1906 as Louisiana College. It took its current name on November 16, 2021. The school colors are orange and blue and the athletic teams are known as the Louisiana Christian Wildcats and Lady Wildcats.
