SUNY Buffalo State College was renamed SUNY Buffalo State University earlier this year as part of that name changing process initiated by the NYS Board of Regents that I mentioned this in a post earlier in the week. Buffalo State is a smaller, primarily undergraduate college, and is located closer to downtown Buffalo.
