Theta Chi was founded in 1856 at Norwich University in Vermont. Its flag is 2:3, white bordered in "military red," with the date of founding in the upper hoist, letters of the name in the center, and a coiled snake in the lower fly, all in "military red." The flag was adopted in 1920.
