Description of the flag

Gates Crossing is a rural private ranch community located in Eastern Washington County on the Brazos River.

The flag is a dark blueish field with the community logo in the center. It shows a star in the center with 1836 on it, which was when the nearby areas were settled. Under the star is the name of Washington, Texas, the nearby community up the Brazos, known for the site of the signing of the Texan declaration of independence.
