Description of the flag

DeSoto adopted a new flag on September 18, 2022. The flag and the logo on the flag were designed by the Augustine Agency.

Horizontally banded blue-white-blue, the white stripe wider, and each blue stripe with a narrow yellow stripe toward the center stripe. Near the hoist, the stripes bulge apart, and a large blue written letter D has a white eagle head in the center.

According to the Marketing and Communications Manager of the city, who rolled out the adoption of the flag and logo, on Twitter she said the former flag was adopted upon the logo’s adoption in 1993.
