The currently used flag has a white seal centered on a blue field. The seal is rather large, almost touching the edges.

A blue flag, with the town seal at the center. The seal consists of a sword-wielding arm below a ribbon stating INCORPORATED, and above the date 1640. The town name is written prominently above, and the year 1640 again below. Braintree is in Norfolk County.
