According to an article by The Miami Herald on December 16th, 2007, the flag
of El Portal is a turquoise, white and green tricolor with a variant of the
village seal in the middle. Behind the village seal is a thin, light yellow
saltire; while on either side of the village seal are slightly darker decorative
swirls, with an image of a Tequesta native american on the left, and a bird on
the right.
The Tequesta man was taken from the seal of Tequesta, Florida, in
Palm Beach County.
