ShoreMaster is an American company that specializes in production and
installation of docks and boat lifts "to suit the unique needs of waterfront
owners," according to the company's website (https://www.shoremaster.com).
The company, headquartered in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, acquired rivals
HydroHoist in 2019 and Neptune Boat Lifts in 2020 to become one of the largest
waterfront equipment companies in North America and forming the new umbrella
company Waterfront Brands, under which all three brands are still marketed.
ShoreMaster still does most of its business through local dealers at various
waterfront locations throughout North America, including at Lake Anna in
Virginia, near where I live.
While driving past Lake Anna last week in
Louisa County, Virginia, we passed by a local waterfront equipment and boat
dealer, and noticed the ShoreMaster flag flying near an outdoor boat lift
display. The flag featured the ShoreMaster corporate logo in white on a blue
field. The logo incorporates the company's name in blue letters outlined in
white, with a white design below the name intended to mimic the shimmering water
of a lake surface.
