Description

Dominion Resources, Inc., is a power and energy company headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. They supply electricity to parts of Virginia and North Carolina under the names Dominion Virginia Power and Dominion Carolina Power. Dominion also provides natural gas service to parts of West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and North Carolina. Additionally, Dominion owns and operates the North Anna Nuclear Power Plant at Lake Anna between Spotsylvania and Louisa Counties in Virginia.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominion_Resources)

The Dominion Resources, Inc., corporate flag features elements of the company's logo on a white field. Across the bottom of the field are black letters spelling out "Dominion." Above the lettering and shifted toward the hoist is the Dominion symbol - a light blue capital D superimposed with a white hand, index finger outstretched and a number of white rays emanating from the finger. The scene is reminiscent of the fresco "The Creation of Adam" by Michelangelo; at least that's usually what comes to my mind.
