Description of the flag

According to the Thai Ministry of Interior in 2000, the flag of Nan province is horizontally divided purple / yellow with the provincial seal  in the center, including the name of the province on a blue ribbon.

The seal of the province shows a deity bull named Usubharaja (aka. Nandi, the Shiva's Vahana) carrying the stupa of Phrathat Chae Haeng.
