Karagayskoe, Katandinskoe, Ognevskoe, Taldinskoe, Ust'-Koksinskoe, and

Ust'-Koksinskoe Rural Settlement in Ust'-Koksinskiy County, Altay Republic,
got its first flag. The Village Council of Deputies adopted the coat of arms and
flag on 24.07.2024.
The municipal flag is a panel with a width-to-length
ratio of 2:3; in the center of the panel is a composition from the municipal
coat of arms. The reverse side of the flag is a mirror image of its obverse.

On a blue and white background:
1. In the upper part of the circle is the
three-headed peak of Belukha, one of the highest mountains in Central Asia,
symbolizing the beauty and power of the native land.
2. In the center is a
bear - as a symbol of wisdom, strength and invincibility in defending the
fatherland.
3. In the lower part of the circle is the symbolic confluence of
the two largest rivers of the Ust-Koksinsky district, the Katun and Koksa, with
their tributaries.
4. At the confluence of the rivers is an arrowhead as a
symbol of determination, courage, fortitude, speed, which has a double meaning,
it also carries significance as a national vessel - tazhuur, which is used in
religious and ritual actions for offering milk to the spirits of Altai.
5.
Also on the arrowhead is depicted a soaring falcon as an ideal combination of
such qualities as courage and intelligence with strength and beauty.
The
shield is topped with a municipal crown of dignity of the established sample.
