Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, on fess point a stonemason´s hammer and a gouche, both Gules in saltire, flanked by two rail profiles Sable, chief Vair of two rows. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers  (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE CORONADO (SÃO ROMÃO E SÃO MAMEDE)".

Coronado (São Romão e São Mamede) is one of the five communes of the Trofa municipality; it had 9104 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 10,98 km².

Shield Or parted by a bend wavy Azure fivefold divided into Azure and Argent, in sinister chief a cogwheel Vert, in dexter base a dolmen Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "CORONADO - S. ROMÃO".
Meaning:
The bend wavy is representing the banks of Mamoa and São Romão creek. The dolmen is symbolising the very early settlements in the area and is alluding to the former name Mamoa de São Romão do Coronado. The cogwheel is symbolising industries.
