Coat of Arms

Shield Argent issuant from base wavy of Argent and Azure a mount Vert, crowned by an embattled mural ringwall Sable masoned Argent, on chief an eagle Gules armed Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "NAVIÓ E VITORINO DOS PIÃES".
Meaning:
Mount and wall are taken from the arms of the former Vitorino dos Piães Commune, the eagle, in different tinctures, from those of the former Navió Commune.

Shield Argent, in base a mountain Vert issuant, crowned by an embattled mural ringwall Sable masoned Argent, in chief a saltire Azure flanked by two paly branches of olive Vert fructed Sable. Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "VITORINO DOS PIÃES".
Meaning:
The saltire, also known as St.Andrew´s Cross, is an attribute of St. Andrew, the local patron saint.
