The arms are Azure an open right hand Or surrounded in chief by two 5-point stars Argent and along the base by three globe amaranths (Latin: Gomphrena globosa) Or. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank)(town rank) and white scroll reading "VILA DE FOLGOSINHO" in black upper case letters.
Meaning:
I have no idea about the symbolism of the arms, apart from the stars standing for the local Star Mountains (Serra da Estrela).

Folgosinho is one of the ten communes of Gouveia Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 442 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 51,69 km². From 1187 to 1836 it was a separate municipality (what may account for the early attribution of a communal coat of arms).
